I am looking for a David Cable marrying Elizabeth Alexander possibly in 1788. In the Howff cemetery there is a David Cabler died 18/1/1833, aged 65.Carmylie, Weaver.West Port. There is also an Eliz Cables in the cemetery died 25/8/1805. Were they husband and wife and the Cable name has been mis spelt? Is there anybody researching a David Cable that was born abt 1768 and fits any of the criteria above. I am aware that there are some list members researching the descendants of David Cable and Elizabeth Alexander but I have not seen any evidence that those people know who Davids parents were.
