I have two WILLS [Nicoll 1889 and Robertson 1845] where there are persons mentioned with two addresses: first, 1845, executor of the Will, son of James Robertson, JAMES, at both Glasgow [iron merchant] and at "GLenloin or Glen Lyon" Perth. second, 1889, JAMES ROBERTSON NICOLL at Glasgow, merchant and at Coupar Angus...he maintained two rental properties. [he had been an iron merchant in Dundee until 1861] my question is "why"...were they "country homes' for leisure? Does anyone have access to Glasgow or Dundee DIRECTORIES? or are any onllne? thanks Liz of BC Canada
