    3. Hi Lesley Not sure its applicable in the case of the Works database but know there were/are export import problems with some Works data I have not used Works for some years but am aware there have been compatibility issues since then but cannot recall if it effects all parts of the package or just some Do you know if thats still the case? When I used to use it I was more than happy with it for what it did but have used MS Office since Best wishes Nivard Ovington, in Cornwall (UK) > > It's not freeware, but I keep all my BMDs in the database area of MS > Works. > > It's very simple and much more tolerant of errors and foibles than Access, > and > > still lets you search and sort on the different fields (eg sorting on > cause of death > > for my OPS immediately highlighted a couple of typoid outbreaks). > > Lesley Robertson

I had mega troubles with Access when trying CSAFs (indeed, I hate the programme completely and utterly). The other joy of Works is its simplicity - I even taught my Dad to use it when he was in his mid 70s and using a database for the first time.
