Would anyone have access to Glamis cemetery? My several time great grandfather William Geddes died at Glamis October 9 1816. . I understand from a distant relative that his son in law Donald Macdonald had an inscription inscribed on the back of a family stone, but don't know what it is. William Geddes's wife was Margaret Macdonald ( I cannot find her death) and I assume this inscription relates to a family member. Any help would be appreciated Ann

Note that the transcriptions just give the genealogical info and leave out poems, etc. I've expanded their abbreviations for clarity. 1829, by Daniel, William and James in memory of their father William Geddes 9 Oct 1816 age 42. The other side has a lot of MacDonalds starting with Robert M of Kinettles, d 28 Feb 1867 age 66 and his wife Jane Anderson d Galmis 27 Nov 1847 age 40. There's 9 kids none of whom made it to their 11th birthday plus Alexander (1829-1852) and George (no dates, his wife Ann Gordon d. 1874 age 25).
