    2. Ooops, my being a Yank is showing again... we wear egg a lot! I could die quite happy in the Aberdeen and North East FHS library. My point was don't stop with which ever one is closest to your rellies.I have purchased many fine publication including the Scottish genealogy society's monument Inscription books.... I'm a member there and at TayValley FHS I'm experienced but not an expert. I have found a New England tour that goes to both Scotland and England, so I can travel again without driving alone. I'll have to join their organization, but volunteer efforts need our suport. _http://www.scotsgenealogy.com/_ (http://www.scotsgenealogy.com/) This is my country, The land that begat me, These windy spaces Are surely my own. And those who toil here In the sweat of their faces Are flesh of my flesh And bone of my bone. Sir Alexander Gray (the poem on the Scottish Genealogy society website) Check out the pedigree files submitted by members AND contribute your work!! Now I'll get off my Yankee soap box.... Hmm... Mary, the Scottish Genealogy Society would have words to say about that, as for many years THEY were the only genealogy society in Scotland! ANESFHS was one of the early local FHSs, and I think I can say that they remain the LARGEST family history society in Scotland, and have been so for many years (4,600 members last year) Gordon. 3. Hello, Can you give me the name of the tour group you mentioned, who go to England and Scotland. As I travel alone I prefer to go with a group and not be required to drive. Thankyou, Pam, an English born Scottish heritage gal, now living in Arizona. > From: BRUINSWOOD@aol.com > Date: Wed, 22 Apr 2009 14:12:14 -0400 > To: angus@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [ANGUS] Arbroath, Angus > > Ooops, my being a Yank is showing again... we wear egg a lot! > > I could die quite happy in the Aberdeen and North East FHS library.
