Mary's obituary stated "Early in life she united with the Scotch Presbyterian church, and was a member of the Presbyterian church in Bonaparte for years.". The Scotch Presbyterian Church would be the Church of Scotland, would it not? But the way this sentence reads, perhaps she was NOT part of this church when born. Interesting.
