He was born in Dundee on June 12th 1873 to Jane Duncan and James Mitchell. He later moved to Australia, joined the Royal navy and married a girl named Lucy Hansford in Sydney (not sure in which order). No idea how or when he died, if he had a siblings, etc. I'd love to hear from anyone who might have a clue about his family origins, his life, his military record, etc. Thanks!
