I'm a direct descendant of these two chaps and I'd love to know more about them. I've just started researching my family history and I get as far back as George Crawford c.1749, Lanark, Scotland, but I really want to delve deeper. George married Bethia Fife, daughter of Adam Fife and Ann Lowdoun. Information about that side of the family would be good too. I'm from the branch of the family that emigrated to New Zealand.
