Hi All, My ancestor ROBERT TALBOT ''fell'' into the harbour in arbroath and drowned in 1868 as per death cert. Arbroath newspaper reported the following day that he was due to go into the local poorhouse the day after his tragic death. Can anyone advise where I may be able to find out where there may be records of his assessment for the poor house, ? parrish records etc Any help appreciated edith talbot
