In 1841 he was aged 55 and a merchant in Dundee. Think they were living in Thornton Downs or Thornton Row? Wife Catherine and children Robert, Catherine, David, Euphemia, John, Jannet and Henry all living at home. Catherine married Joseph Cable in 1842. They are my 2xGreat Grandparents.
