According to Gravestone & Burial Records WILLIAM NICOLL died 19 January 1901 age 44 years Burial record shows his address at that time was 23 St. Vigeans Road, Arbroath his occupation was Mill Manager ISABELLA HAY PETRIE's gravestone & burial records conflict and would need to be checked with her death certificate. Gravestone notes her death date as 11 November 1917 aged 57 Burial Record notes her death date as 12 November 1917 aged 67.... Burial Record also notes her address at that time was 248 High Street, Arbroath she is noted as a Widow. I would suggest her gravestone details are correct as my Petrie database shows ISOBEL HAY PETRIE born 20 August 1860 at Arbroath daughter of JAMES PETRIE & ELIZA HAY I have transcribed the gravestone inscription at the Western Cemetery in Arboath it reads... Erected by JAMES PETRIE in loving memory of his wife ELIZABETH MALCOLM died 29 November 1890 aged 60 Also his first wife ELIZA HAY died 26 July 1866 aged 33 years also of their children who died in infancy and is interred in the Abbey Burying Ground. Also of the above JAMES PETRIE died 11 April 1892 aged 55 years. WILLIAM NICOLL his son-in-law died 19 January 1901 aged 44 and ISABELLA H. PETRIE, his wife, died 11 November 1917 aged 57 years. (Western Cemetery, Section K, Arbroath) Also in Section K at the Western Cemetery in Arbroath is the gravestone of the parents of the above JAMES PETRIE, and the transcription on that gravestone names PETRIE, DOIG & BOATH relations...
