Bruce, I am struggling with this. Can you provide any additional information? Do you know Robert's wife name? How about his children, their name, etc.? Were they born in Scotland or the US? If a son visited in Forfar, would anyone know more about him? It might be possible to request some assistance from the staff at the Newberry Library in Chicago.
