    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: heather51us Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.scotland.ans.general/5902.1.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I found this thread interesting. I have a John Ewan buried in Logie Burial ground. There are still some stones in this cemetery but they are very old and I wasn't able to read any of them, when I visited in May. I think contacting the organization in charge of burials in Dundee/Angus, is yopur best bet. Doreen, would you happen to have your MI book still out? I was wondering if you might look for a burial of an Alexander Ewan, some time after 1851? Or any other Ewans for that matter? Thanks. 3. And, if your MI book is still out and you're willing to do other lookups, is there a: POWRIE -- Family #1: John Powrie (1814- Isobella (Bruce) Powrie (~1811? - POWRIE -- Family #2: John Powrie (1833-1919) (son of JOhn and Isobella above) Jane Haddon Innes (1834-bef 1881) Children: Helen Powrie, b. 1859. Died bef 1861? Isabella Bruce (Powrie), b. 1861. wife of Robert Hutcheon Low Georgina Thompson (Powrie) Doll or D'all or Dall, 1865, b. wif of John Dall. He died bef 1891. Georgina died aft 1919. Alexander Stephen Powrie, b. 1868. Died bef 1881. Elizabeth Innes Powrie, b. 1871. Died bef 1881. Note: They had 2 other children, but they moved to the US. INNES: Believe Jane Haddon Innes Powrie's siblings (most of) and parents were buried in the Howff, but if you see Helen (Reid) Innes, Jane (Powrie)'s mother, I'll gladly claim her! She was b. ~ 1803. Thanks, in advance, for your assistance.
