It includes various pieces from the Auchterhouse kirk session minutes, with Inglis's comments on them. Therefore it gives some sense of the conditions of the times, and I'm hoping it will give some sense of the huge social changes in that century. Unfortunately it's apparently been scanned and rendered by optical character recognition without being fully checked and there are some words that have to be guessed. But it's a interesting read.
