Hello Marilyn Do you have an idea of her husband's first name? Your question is interesting because I do have a Georgina in the family although she was a D'All by birth. I will try to summarize: In the mid 1850s Mary Coleman Dalziel arrived in Dundee from County Cavan with her three children George, Sarah & Alexander. George married twice with no surviving children. The first of his children with Susan are shown as illegitimate - they had 5 boys - John 1866, James 1868, George 1874, Robert 1877 & Alexander 1881 - in addition to Mary 1879. The only marriage records for his sons that I have found are for Robert (Mary Anderson) & Alexander (Jane Malcolm). Sarah of course had no D'All descendants so, on to Alexander: Alexander - the first of the family to my knowledge to be recorded as D'All, married Mary Jane McDowell - they had 3 sons - George 1875, Samuel 1876 & Alexander (my ggrand) 1878. George & his wife Jessie had five daughters, one of whom was the Georgina I mentioned earlier. Samuel and his wife Agnes had sons but they would have been too young to be Georgina's husband. My g-grand Alexander & Bella had 2 sons, again too young to be considered. Going by your Georgina's date of birth it looks to me as if the candidates in my family could be one of George's sons for whom I have not found marriages. There are at the very least seven Alexanders of record, some of course still living; I did not have the death record for Alexander in Seattle however - are you able to tell me where you found it? I have to admit that although I have done extensive research on the family over the years it has been at least 5 years since did any serious looking.
