    3. Edith, It depends which version of FTM you have. I have 2012, and it's quite simple. Generate your Family Group sheet, then at the top right hand side of the page there is a button which says share. This allows you to do several things, one of which is export to PDF. I would suggest using that. You can create a PDF and then attach it to an email. If you have an older version, I'm sure there will be a similar facility. 1. Re: [ANGUS] HELP WITH FAMILY TREE MAKER
    2. Edith - I don't have Family Tree Maker, I use PAF but I wonder if it would be similar. I would click on the head of the family I wanted the group sheet about. I would go to make reports. I would click on Family Group Sheet and confirm the family. Instead of printing it right then, I would click on the option "Print to File" and give it a name. It would then be in your computer with your other documents. When doing my e-mail, I would then be able to attach it in the usual manner, assuming I could remember what I named it and find it in my documents! Don't laugh, that has happened. The other very elementary way would be to print out the group sheet in whatever manner you usually do. Then scan the paper copy into your computer. Name it and attach it as above. Hope this doesn't sound insultingly basic, but we're all at different levels of computer literacy. Irene, in Michigan where the snow has just begun May everyone have a very merry Christmas. It will boost my tree greatly. I have Isabel Fender and William Winter down for two more children Betty and Mary. This is at the moment based on the census of 1841 copied below. I would be interested if you have discounted these for any reason. You will see that both Elizabeth and Betty, the obvious substitute name, have different ages, and are both listed as living with them so can only presume they are not the same. Margaret Souter (b 4/5/1828) and Mary were both apparently born in 1828. Are they the same person? Why is Mary shown on the census, yet Margaret (d 1851) is not shown as living with them in 1841.
