    3. Looking for any information about James Logie Chalmers and Margaret Robertson both born approximately 1780.  Margaret Robertson was born in Kirriemuir and died at Balmuckety.  I have had no success finding their marriage or James' birth or death.  I have searched Scotlandspeople.  In 1841 Margaret was living with her daughter Margaret Stewart in Balmuckety.  Any suggestions on how I can find James' birth, death or marriage to Margaret Robertson are appreciated. __________________________________________________________________ Yahoo! I couldn`t check the record, though. You can buy 30 credits for about $8.00 US. You`ll need a credit card. The record should show the mother`s maiden name as well as the father. Pat R. 1. [ANGUS] help with 1891 census for Dundee, THOMAS NICOLL
    2. Harvie Barker
    3. .Dear folks. I need some help with finding THOMAS NICOLL and family in Dundee in 1891. I cannot open this census download on Scotlandspeople [some of you are aware of my computer problems]. The household should contain THOMAS NICOLL age 50, wife Margaret 51, Christian 25, possibly Thomas 26, James 23, John 20, George 18, and for sure: Henry 15, Fred 13, Ann 12, Jessie 10 and Charles 7. This family should be living at Crofts Lane or Peddie St as the street was renamed. All children were born in Dundee. I am most interested in what the older sons were doing, ie, their occupations. I am trying to find them in 1901 after they have left the parental home but there are numerous other Nicolls in Dundee of the same age and given names. With occupations I might be able to narrow down my choices. I have the parents and 4 youngest children in 1901. Christian married Joseph Shuttleworth in 1897 and I have them in 1901. If anyone has access to the 1891 census and can tell me what the occupations for these young men was, i would be most appreciative. thanks Liz of BC Canada
