Hi, your message does not say where your Peter emigrated to or where from. Also you do not say what you have already found and its source. However, with a view to being helpful, the UK Census 1881 shows 20 or so of the exact spelling, the eldest being Elizabeth Tacchi born in the UK in 1812, born in Huntingdon and living in Bedford at the time of the 1881 Census. The rest were living mainly in Bedford and the others in London (11). None had the first name Peter, but there was a Percy. How sure are you of the name? Due to a system fault, I could not research occupations for occupations at this time. The LDS contains many references including 2 for Varese, Lombardy and 2 for Pisa and there were over 25 in America, mainly New York and California. Hope this is new information. I would be happy to do another search if you care to disclose the sources you have so far. Best wishes.Brian Symonds, Bristol, UK, (AIFHS no.10)
