Not on holiday, but if you are anything like me, you are in the 'slough of despond' trying to trace the birth of my grandfather, blind alley, brick wall, dead end, you name it I have been there - so until I can find something positive about this elusive bloke I have nothing to post. But if anyone knows of a contact for a Catholic church around the Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush area of London that would have been there round about 1908-1925 where they could check for a marriage between Albino Flavio GIOIA and Florence Mary TAPLIN, this would be a tremendous help...
