Hi Maggie, My Grandfather Giuseppe Desio was from Como town, I have a tramendous amount of information about Como which I will pass on to you in a few days. I personally visited Como last summer, it is really a lovely place. I have also managed to get quiet a lot of the family records. My Grandfather came to South wales and was a seaman working from Cardiff. If I can help you with anything from the Como side please let me know.
