    3. 17th May 2002 Dear Linda, Yours is effectively the same inquiry as I have been following up in the last week. I think you would get the information you need from the Catholic Central Library, Lancing Street, London NW1 1ND, www.catholic-library.org.uk e-mail [email protected] Actually, I am going there this morning to look up the register of the Sicilian Chapel, mentioned on this mailing list some time ago, which has entries going back to 1729. The old chapel was demolished, and its successor was a church in Holborn Kingsway which I actually visited about ten days ago, but I cannot remember whether its modern name was St Peters, or whether that was a neighbour. However, I believe that the Central Library hold transcripts of almost all the London Registers, and some have been published in earlier issues of the Catholic Record. Sincerely, Adrian Bivar [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Gale" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, May 16, 2002 2:04 PM Subject: [Anglo-Italian] St Peters Holborn > Hi Everyone > > Please can you help me? Can you tell me where I can access the registers for St Peters Italian Church in Holborn, London for the 19th century? Also were there any other churches where Italian immigrants or visitors would have been baptised or married and where are their archives held? > > With many thanks in advance. > > Linda >
