I was interested to read your posting and to see that you make a reference to "passport sent" on a certain date. Do you or any other lister have any more infor,ation on what this means. Did the Italian State (or its predecessor) send the passports ? Or were these British Passports ? I am seeking passport information on my Italians who left Italy in 1879/80 and where I might obtain such information.
