If anyone is going to the PRO within the next few months, could I please beg a lookup in the HO series Naturalisation Records? I am (endlessly!) looking for a reference for Dominick Ferrie (probably started out as Dominicio Ferri). As far as I can establish, he came to England around 1865. However, I've now managed to establish that the only census he is listed as 'naturalised' in is the 1901 - he was then living in Liverpool. I assume that he applied for naturalisaton between 1891 and 1901, therefore, although of course this could just be a shot in the dark. I'd be ever so grateful. TIA A Williams [email protected]
