Since reading about a local prisoner of war I have become very interested in the experiences of Italian POWs. Bruno Cornazzani tried to save the British pilots of a plane which crashed on the farm in Suffolk where he was working. There is a plaque in the local church commemorating this event. I would be very interested to hear about the experiences of Italian POWs (or, of course, their guards or anyone else who met them), either on this site, or, if you prefer it to be in confidence, to my own E-mail. Paul.
