Hello fellow list members. I thought I would give a very brief history of my Italian family as a way of introducing myself: Bortolomeo Scaia born in Prezzo Italy Aug 1860 moved to London England and married Mary Ann Church in 1886. They had 7 children: Dominico Adamo, Bortolomeo Joseph, Antonio James, Guanina Maria, Rosalina Mary Ann, Beatrice Agatha and Fred J. Scaia. The immigration to North America started with my grandfather Dominico in 1904 by way of Ellis Island then Syracuse NY and to to join his uncles (also from Prezzo, Italy) in British Columbia Canada. Eventually all of my grandfather's family moved to the same small area of BC were they lived and died. So that's a very brief history.
