My relatives came from San Gregorio Magno, outside of Salerno, Italy. My grandfather was Giacomo Tortoriello, born in SGM 1/13/1881. He married my grandmother Luigia Angelina Tremarco, born 4/19/1886 in SGM. My grandfather emigrated to America around 1900 and his wife followed him 2 years later.
