Most of the sons and daughters of my Italian ancestor moved from Somerset to Nottingham, as they worked in the lace trade. I have no idea if there was / is a big Italian community in Nottingham. All the ones I have traced married people with English surnames. On moving they anglicised the name from Dominico to Dominic(k), as did the son who went to Scotland.
