    3. Hi Kay, my rellie never got as far as US, he ended up in Liverpool. However, your info re book on Ellis Island is very interesting. The reason is many Aussies were descended from Irish convicts. Once the people were transported out here, the rest of their families feared authorities and headed to US. It split families who were never to meet again and is very, very sad. I know of many people who would love to know what happened to the rest of their ancestors. I've only recently joined AIFHS, how do I get my copy of the latest Italian Roots? With thanks and warmest regards.
