    1. Meeting of the Anglo-Italian Family History society
    2. Elaine Collins
    3. Just a reminder that we've got David Green, geographical historian from King's College, London, giving a talk entitled 'Creating a community: godparents and organ grinders in Victorian London'. This will be held at 2pm Saturday 9 October, at The Hyde Park Family History Centre, 64/68 Exhibition Road London SW7 2PA. The talk is free to members, with a suggested donation of £3 for non-members. There will be a drop-in advice clinic from noon onwards for anyone who wants help with a family history problem, and of course you are welcome to use the wonderful facilities of the centre (which has a large collection of films of Italian church and civil records) both before and after the talk. The Society will have a supply of books and CDs for sale, and if you wish to borrow a book from the society library, this is a good time to arrange to collect a preordered title, without incurring postage costs. We need to give the centre some idea of numbers, so that they know which room to put us in, so please email me if you are thinking of coming. Guests welcome. Look forward to seeing many of you there. 3. If anyone is taking notes of David Green's talk on October 9 or if a transcript is available I'd gladly pay for a copy. It's too far from Toronto.
