Hello list Does anyone have an interest in Giovanni Dominico Bertolini of 34 St Martins Street Leicester Square? He seems to have taken over the hotel in St Martins Lane (Newtons Hotel) in about 1817 possibly from John Baptist Pagliano who certainly had it a few years before. If anyone knows anything about the hotel I would be very interested to hear from you. I know that the hotel got it's name because it had previously been the home of Isaac Newton; the site is now occupied by a Westminster library.
