Giacomo's father on the marriage certificate was Giovanni Batista PALTANI a cook. Bertha and Giacomo had three children (I have found no others as yet) Modesta Louisa born 28.12.1891, Batista Edward born 24.09.1893 and Bertha Marguerite born 14.07.1895.
