His occupation is looking glass frame maker. At that time he is living with his family in Shoreditch. He was married 31.03.1862, St Luke, Clerkenwell. Ruth who turned up this surprising information for me is of the opinion that he is Italian given his profession. Does any body out there have Italian family with Irish connections. I would be very please for information on how to continue my family research. 1. Falcieri's from Venice in London
    2. Claudia Aliffe
    3. Can anyone help me with my Falcieri - Giovanni Battista (born 1798). He came from Venice to live in London in 1832. I have not been able to locate him in the 1841 census - or more concerningly with his wife Sarah (born Lincs 1806) in the 1851 and 1861 when he was working for the India Office / Board of Control. If anyone comes up with a Falcieri or whatever version the census enumerator rendered it, it's mine! He is registered as living at 60 Seymour Street, Portman Square in 1871 but not before that. Additionally, if anyone happens to have done any research in Venice this is where he came from. His father Vincenzo was still alive in Venice in 1835 (a ferryman on the grand canal) and he had two brothers both gondoliers. Any help gratefully received.
