Our oldest Thomas Andrews b 1815 Ireleand, His first son James Andrews b 1838 NY, they came to Livingston co. MI in mid 1840s according to Livingston co records. All I know is that they came from Ireland, Not Northern Ireland. The Catholics were from the South and the Protesants the North, that is where the other part of my family came from. I don't know how I will ever find out where they came from. I did get information about the McDevitt family, they came from Cork, Ireland. That probably would be a good start. Thanks Kathy Lombardi
