Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Wm.2ADEB/2821 Message Board Post: I have info that states that Rueben Brown Andrews was the father of several children & his wife was Elizabeth (Lizzie) B Williams. Among their children were a T S Andrews and a T G Andrews. Georgia Marriage index states that TS Andrews married a Lillian Johnson. Dont know who TG Andrews married. One source says that the TG Andrews was Tamlin (male) and the other says that the TS was Tamlin. There are conflicts here.. One source tells me that TG Andrews that married Lillian Johnson was the parent of Maude, Cary (Carrie), and Mattie Lou Andrews. Mattie Lou Married an Alton Homer Cooksey. Carrie married a James Wayman Cooper and she died in January 1919 (probably from child birth complications). Mattie Lou was raised by an aunt and uncle ( James and Ella Andrews Mangham/Mangrum) 2 sources have conflicting info here too. One says Mangham... the other says Mangrum. One source tells me that TS was married to a woman named Bernie. However, in the 1920 census... there is listed a Tam Andrews with wife Bernie and daughter Loucile. So, that leads me to believe that Tamlin was the TG Andrews. and he married a "bernie". Also.... there is a Tillum (spelling) Andrews listed in the census but he is listed by his First name as his last name.. evidentally a mistake on the part of the census taker. Anyway.... can anyone please tell me about this line of Andrews family (families) from Chambers county Alabama. What happened to Maude? Did she die young? Or... did she marry...and if so... whom did she marry? Carrie Married James Wayman Cooper ( I descend from this line). What happened to TG and Lillian that made Mattie Lou have to be raised by her Aunt & Uncle? Does anyone know? I would love to be able to put the correct info in my family tree. Any info would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you.
