Hi everyone! I'm new to this list and just wanted to introduce myself and give you my family history. My Grandmother was Virginia Mae Andrews (b. March 26, 1901, in Herndon, Virginia.). She married a Frederick Reckeweg (b. June 01, 1899, in Washington, D.C.). Virginia's parents were: Otto Frank Andres (b. November 1872, in Frankfurt, Germany.. d. April 23, 1927 in Washington, D.C.) and Daisy Mae Kidwell (b. November 02, 1881 in Fairfax County, Va., d. January 28, 1948, in Washington, D.C.) all are buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland. Otto Frank Andres eventually changed his name to Andrews around the time of the war, but apparently, none of his siblings did. Otto Frank Andres's parents were: Ernest Frederick William Andres (b.1844 in Frankfurt, Germany... d. 1932 in Fairfax County, Va.) and Augusta Henrietta Engel (b. 1842 in Frankfurt, Germany.. d. 1901 in Fairfax County, Va.) Have been unable to locate their graves. Ernest Frederick William Andres and Augusta Henrietta Engel had 9 children. I'll just list their names, but if anyone is interested in any of the dates, let me know. 1. Otto Frank Andres, 2. Anna Henrietta Augusta Andres, 3. Emelie Marie Augusta Andres, 4. Augusta Bertha Andres, 5. Herman Frederick Andres, 6. Albertina Augusta Andres, 7. Ella Helena Andres, 8. Martha Clara Andres, 9.
