I have the 1870 census of Mobile Co., AL and Joseph is on there as a 5 year old, with sisters-Sarah, Martha and Emma. Their mother''s name was Elizabeth and she is listed as head of household. I have been looking for about 20 years for Joseph's father, but have not found him. If anyone knows anything about him, please, please let me know. Joseph was married (1) Fredonia Braxton and had 13 children, she died and he married (2) Eliza Thompson and had 6 children, she died and he married (3) Minnie Nellums. I would appreciate any help, Thank you so much.
