Hello All, This is a list of the Andrews part of my family. Richard Andrews born about 1773 at Wells, married Grace ?????born about 1777 at Wedmore Somerset they had the following children, Ann bapt 10th. Jan 1813 at Hinton.Somerset Mary bapt 5th. Jan 1815 at Yarley " Frances bapt 13th. April 1817 at Yarley " John bapt 20th. June 1819 at Hinton " Richard bapt 22nd. Oct 1820 at Wookey " Honor bapt 6th. April 1823 at Yarley " In 1820 Richard and Grace were living at Callow Hill, (where is Callow Hill?) Richard Andrews married a Martha ???? born about 1828 in Pembrokeshire The children of Richard and Martha are Elizabeth born c. 1853 at Merthyr Tydfil GLA George born c. 1855 at Merthyr Tydfil GLA Martha born c. 1859 at Merthyr Tydfil GLA Annie born c 1867 at Merthyr Tydfil GLA Mary born c. 1872 at Merthyr Tydfil. GLA George Andrews married Ann Millar at Bethel Chapel George Town M.T. on 15th. Sept 1873 and had two children Mary and John Elias. Mary Andrews married Thomas Moseley and are my grandparents. George Andrews from the marriage certificate was born in 1855, and at the time of his marriage was living at Caepantywyll. Father's name Richard Andrews In 1881 Ann Andrews is working as a Nurse Domestic Servant with a family named Nell at 29 Wood Cottage, Wenvoe, the head of household is William W.Nell, Brewer and Wine merchant. There is only one George Andrews listed as born MT in 1885 and he is living as a lodger with a David John and family at Blaina Road, Aberystruth, Monmouth, Wales and unmarried. In 1881 Mary Andrews and John Elias Andrews are living with their grandmother Ann Jenkins at 3 Ebinezer Row, Eglwysilan, Glamorgan. In 1901 Ann Andrews 43 is living with Thomas 29 and Mary 27 Moseley also living with them is Edith Moseley 22. Whether George Andrews and Ann Andrews got divorced or just seperated I do not know at the moment , but searching the 1901 census I can only find one George Andrews that fits !!! George Andrews born 1855 Merthyr Tydfil Glam Christina Andrews born 1865 Scotland together with children Richard b. 1885 George b. 1886 Martha b. 1888 Jane b. 1890 John b. 1892 Jame b. 1894 William b. 1897 Thomas b. 1898 Christina b. 1900 Edward b. 1901 All the children were born Durhan Seaham In the 1891 census George Andrews, Christina Andrews ,Richard 7,George 5,Martha 3 and Jane 1 were living at 27 Doctor's Street, Seaham, Co.
