He is listed on the 1910 US census, living in Ionia County, Michigan, with his parents Texas H. and Lavinia "Venie" (Burnham) Andrews and siblings Mabel, Edna, Marion, and Herbert. The family homesteaded in Alberta, Canada from 1913-1919. On the 1930 US census, Texas and Lavinia Andrews are listed as living in Bellingham, Whatcom Co., Washington, with Lavinia's sister Carrie H.
