Looking for descendants of James Highsmith ANDREWS (ca1800-1846) m. Jane TUCKER. Jane TUCKER ANDREWS (widow) was near neighbor of Eliza ODOM ANDREWS (widow of Frederick ANDREWS) in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 Census records in Cotton Hill, Randolph County, Georgia. Both widows had many sons who fought for the Confederacy and each lost one during the war. Frederick's descendants have been trying for years to locate his father. Several years ago I corresponded with one of JHA's descendants through this medium who said they knew nothing about his siblings but knew that JHA belonged to the "William Hill ANDREWS" line. Having given up on finding any written records on our end, I'd like more information on the William Hill ANDREWS line.
