Sharie, I have been unable to find any absolute answers regarding my Hiram Andrews/Andrus. The total sum of information I have is from his son's records, ie. Civil War, Death Certificate, etc. Hiram was married to Lucy Pratt circa 1828, was born in PA, lived in Bradford County, PA. Sorry to say I have no other answers about him. He MIGHT HAVE also lived in NY, VT, or MN. He MIGHT HAVE been connected to the Andrews/Andrus family from Granville, PA. He MIGHT HAVE had more than one wife. I do have more records ordered re: Calvin D. Andrus military history. These are from the Oregon State Archives and are in addtion to the National Archives records. Perhaps there will be something further that I can offer from that. If anyone could identify my Hiram from this scant bit of information, It would be greatly appreciated. It would also be a miracle!!
