This is a "new" surname for me. My sister and I recently took a trip to Columbia Co., NY where we found a deed for Jacob Andrews in which he mentions his daughter, Content Andrews Chapman, wife of Joseph Chapman. We hadn't known Content's surname, so were excited to find this. These people lived in the town of Canaan. Jacob died prior to 1804. If this sounds familiar to anyone, I would love to hear from you.
