Farmington,Ct Hartford,Ct New Britain,Ct Avon,Ct PROFESSOR ETHAN ALLEN ANDREWS, LL. D., He was a magistrate and judge of probate court, but he gained his eminence and celebrity from his literary taste and labor as a Latin author. In 1848 his Alma Mater (Yale College) gave him the honorable degree of LL. D. He died, in the midst of his literary labors, 24th March, 1858, aged 70 years, 11 months, 17 days.
