Question: Who is the father of Daniel Andrews? Is Adam Andrews b. 1727 and d. May 1798 Jones Co. N.C. the father of Daniel Andrews? Adam Andrews had a son named Daniel and Adam’s wife was Elizabeth. Here is what we have: Daniel Andrews born 1747 in Orange Co. North Carolina and lived some years in Burks Co. N.C. He fought in the Revolutionary War in the 7th Orange Co. Militia under Col. Butler’s Battalion in 1776. Daniel is enumerated (on the census) in Wayne Co. KY in 1812. He was married to Mary Hunter bc 1749 daughter of John and Sarah Hunter. She died before 1810 and was not in the will of Daniel Andrews. Daniel and Mary Hunter Andrews’ children were: 1. Daniel Andrews b. 1770 m. Mary Ann Cooper 21 Jul 1802 2. John Andrews b. 1772 3.
