The first Groves/Andrews reunion was held in August of 1929 for the families and descendants of Martha Jane Groves (Mrs. John) Andrews and her sister Elizabeth (Betsy) Groves (Mrs. George) Andrews. The sisters, two of the eleven children of Peter and Sarah Swickard Groves of Jefferson Co., Ohio, had married Andrews cousins. This year the reunion will be held at Bi-Centennial Park in Minerva on August 2.
