In response to queries on the reunion, this is my dead end on the Andrews family. I find them in Jefferson Co., Ohio at the time of the War of 1812. I have not yet found any information on parents or siblings. Samuel Andrews was born 28 Feb 1781 in either Pennsylvania or Virginia. He married an Elizabeth, possibly Morris who died between 1830 and 1840 in Ohio. They had seven children, William, an unidentified daughter, Eleazor, James, George, Hannah Morrow, and John. Eleazor and John both went west an were last heard of in Iowa in the 1860's. The other children stayed in Jefferson and Carroll Co., Ohio. His brother James Andrews was born October 15, 1772 in Pennsylvania. James married Margaret Kerr and they had: David Andrews, Sarah Andrews, Mary Householder James John, Esther Householder and Martha Andrews. This family all stayed in Jefferson Co., Ohio. Both brothers fought in the War of 1812, but only James's family applied for a pension. Serena in Michigan
