Dinwiddle (msp) VA. then to Logan KY, 1817 John was born there. It is odd to me to see 1830 census Green Co. IL 3 ANDREWS- a little later a LEWIS and AMOS show up. But I could not connect MY JOEL ANDREWS whose father was born in NY (I think Stillwater- no proof) to any of the Green Co. ANDREWS. Why would one man leave his mother and family to sail the Mississippi and then PLOP down in Jersey Co. IL? I guess LOVE could make you do it.....:) !!!
