My ANDREWS is really an ANDREW. Robert ANDREW first appears in Chester Co, PA in 1747 on the county tax list. He then turns up as a guest at a Quaker wedding in London Grove Twp, Chester Co, PA. He married a Jane ....., and they had a son, John, b 1750. He married 2, Sarah ....., and together they had 7 children, the oldest being William, my ggggf, b 1753 in Chester Co, PA. Others were Jane, Catharine, Robert, Ann, David and Thomas. All the children were born in PA except Ann, David and Thomas. In 1763 the family, who were Quakers by this time, moved to NC, where Robert lived out his life as a farmer, dying in 1793. I am prospecting for the parents of Robert, and for any reference to him during the years he was (probably) in Chester County before he became a Quaker in 1758. Afterwards, he and his family become easy to track because of the Quaker penchant for record keeping. I am particularly interested in any information about Thomas. He was born in 1775-6 in Orange Co, NC, but his birth was not noted in the Quaker records. He moved to IN as an adult and died there, after 1850, while living with his daughter Jemima and her husband Jonathon BOOHER. Would love to find some new cousins...any hits out there? Cheers, Phil Andrew
