My G Grandfather Marshall Andrews (b Market Deeping 1841), married Caroline Bristow and lived in Sudbury Suffolk where they owned a hardware store. They had 5 children: George Marshall, Carrie Rosina, Herbert, Florence and Lydia. George Marshall Andrews (my grandfather b 1856 in Sudbury) married Mary Ethel Brook, they had 5 children Harold, Alan, Clifford, Joyce and Osway Dennis........... Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/mbexec/msg/5538/Wm.2ADEB/2761 Message Board Post: My GG grandmother was Mary Ann Andrews.  She was born near Hadleigh on 8 January 1854.  I was told by a distant cousin, about ten years ago, that the Andrews family came from around the Sudbury area.  Her father was either Richard or Robert Andrews (I can't remember which was the father and which was the son) and her grandfather was buried in either Lavenham or Long Melford church yard (again, I can't remeber which it is, or if it is another churchyard in the area) - there is one of those long low stones near the door appearently. I understand that he was a farmer, who cut his son out of his will.  I'd be very interested to find out more - there seem to be a lof of Andrews-es in the area.  I'd be grateful for any help anyone could offer me.
