    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Andrews, Gillesby, Gillespy, Gillespie, Rigby Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Wm.2ADEB/2613 Message Board Post: Searching for information on Thomas Fletcher Andrews (1852-1922) and his family of origin in the UK. He was born in Somersetshire, England in 1852 and came to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1872, a veteran of the Northwest Rebellion. May have also been a seaman in his early years. Ran the Central (or Home) Dray Company and was in the real estate business in Winnipeg for many years. A member of the Fort Garry Canadian Order of Foresters and St. Johns Lodge No. 29 Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Buried in Winnipeg's Old Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery with sons Willie (d. 1888, age 3 of diptheria) and Thomas Raymond Andrews, DCM (d. Oct.1918, age 20, of wounds in France) and his first wife, the former Maggie Gillesby (1853-1907) of Hamilton and Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. He had a sister named Ellen Andrews, who was single and lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Second wife's name was Edith Rigby (1863-1916). There was also a third wife, known as "Mater", who survived him. A family with an Ellen has been found in the 1851 Yoevil, Somerset census, and a birth of a Thomas Andrews in December 1852 in Yeovil, but I have no idea if this is the Thomas Andrews family I am looking for! Information anyone? Siblings? Parents, grandparents?
