Looking for information on Chester Andrews born in New York about 1810. Married Emily Caroline Fancher 1829. About 1840 they moved to Royalton,Ohio. Chester died 19 Jan 1872 in Berea,Ohio at age 62. They had the following children: Emeline Andrews b Jan 4, 1833 Charlotteville,Ny d 17 Nov, 1898 Medina, Ohio married Phillip Warren Sabrina Andrews b Apr 26, 1837 Charlotteville,Ny d 28 Feb 1897 Bennetts Corners,Ohio married William Saunders Adah Andrews b 12 Nov 1840 Charletteville,Ny d 27 Dec 1919 Bennetts Corners,Ohio married Bryan Southam. Abbie Andrews b abt 1846 Medina County,Ohio d 21 March, 1872 Brunswick,Ohio married Emmons Kenyon. I cannot find him on the 1830 New York census for Schoharie County,New York, as that is were Charlotteville is located. I have written to the historian of Charlotteville and they have no information on his family except a note for the birth of a daughter. Does anyone have any suggestions what else to try? I live in Lorain Ohio and I know there are Andrews in Lorain County. Try looking in LaGrange or LaGrange Township, Penfield Township or Carlisle Township. All are in Lorain County and adjacent to Medina County.
